We met this wonderful lady at The Handmade Fair and were delighted when she sent us pictures of her Day Dresses! We couldn’t be happier that Ahrabella is our Avid Seamstress of the month for October!
Ahrabella make her first dress out of a duvet cover bought in a charity shop that had a tiny hounds-tooth pattern. She self lined the dress and we think she did an amazing job!
Abrabella said “the Day Dress is one of my go to patterns and I love it’s mix of simplicity and classic design”

The Avid Seamstress 
Thank you so much I am thrilled to be the October Seamstress of the month ! Heading off to work abroad for two weeks in warmer climes with another version of The Day Dress packed for my travels made with a pretty ‘shell’ like pattern of golds ,pinks and blues..More versions of this great pattern are planned with heavier fabrics for the winter months .
