Dear Avid Seamstresses

January seems to be off to a flying start and we hope that this month is treating you well.

At the end of last year, we hinted that we have some exciting news lined up for 2018. First up, we expanded our team to include our fabulous new member Cait who has joined The Avid Seamstress as our Studio Assistant. Cait loves to cross-stitch and embroidery and is fast-becoming a sewing fanatic too. In her spare time, she loves to bake and spend time snuggling with her new cat.

Our next major news involves the release of our latest sewing patterns and a re-release of one of our most asked for patterns. Lisa has been working really hard behind the scenes to design and create new beautifully stylish patterns that we know you’ll love. To kick start 2018, we’d love to give you a tasty little sneak preview to whet your sewing appetites.

For 2018, one of the projects that we’re really keen to launch is our exclusive Avid Seamstress workshops. This year, we will be branching out and creating tailored workshops that have been thoughtfully designed to offer you valuable lessons in learning how to sew. Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate seamstress that wants to enhance your skills, our workshops will offer excellent value for money as well as our wealth of sewing and fit experience.

However, to ensure we get the workshops just right we’d like to ask you what you would find most beneficial. Would you be interested in learning to sew with our team?
