We love seeing how our customers translate our patterns and share them with the sewing community, so we thought what better way to share that even more than with a dedicated blogging team. Enter: The Avid Makers.
We’re putting together a team of enthusiastic, talented makers to share their experiences with our patterns. We want to ensure we represent the diversity of the sewing community, and our aim is to provide real value to our readers. We’re after blog posts with useful tips, ideas, hacks, and inspiration.
So how will it work?
We will be asking members of the team to make and write about one garment every other month e.g. August, October and December. This will be all planned in advance so you have plenty of time to prepare.
We will work with you to decide the topic and pattern you would like to make, then we will send you a printed copy of the pattern. Blog posts need to be around 400 words, with 6 high resolution images provided. The fee for each blog post is £50, along with the printed pattern for you to review.
How do you apply?
To apply, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject: ‘The Avid Makers application’. In your email, please copy and paste these questions followed by your answers:
