The Creative Workshop
The workshop is a beautiful, tranquil space with a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of room available with rustic wooden tables and chairs. The workshop space is light and inspired by the farm’s rich history.
What you need to bring
All levels are welcome. If you are a beginner, we’ll share our knowledge and help you create your first garment. If you are a more seasoned sewist, you’ll still be able to pick up lots of tips along the way. With at least two teachers, you’ll receive ample support.
Pick an Avid Seamstress sewing pattern to make at the retreat. With a new sewing pattern on the horizon, you’ll have an exciting new option to add to your sewing plans.
Bring your fabric, haberdashery, sewing machine and overlocker. Work on one more complicated project, such as The Blazer, or easier projects to wind away the hours. We can help you select the sewing pattern perfect for you.
Sewing machines and overlockers available for those that aren’t able to bring theirs.
Accommodation
Choose from twin or double rooms in the Farmhouse or bring a bestie and stay in the two self catering cottages with outdoor bateau baths.
