Learn how to make simple yet fabulous pencil pleat lined curtains.

You will learn:

·         how to measure the window

·         calculate the fabric needed for different curtain lengths

·         square off the fabric and cut long lengths accurately

·         join the fabric widths – plain & patterned fabric

·         add the lining

·         attach the header tape

You will also learn lots of tips along the way.

You will make a sample curtain in this class to take away with you as well as detailed instructions with photographs to take with you!

This is a straight forward easy workshop so please don’t worry if you are only at beginners level – curtains are much easier than you think!

Really brilliant class, a lot easier than I thought it would be x

I signed up to this class with little confidence and thought I would need many more lessons after one session to grasp how to make a curtain; however, Lisa was very thorough with her explanations and demonstrations! Even if you are new to the sewing world, I urge you to get in touch and even come join in! It’s really not that hard, especially with great tutors like Lisa :-) x

  3. Aw thank you Anne Marie and Elizabeth – it was a fab class
