The Gathered Dress is a gorgeous girls dress for ages 3-8 years. A T-shaped dress with the sleeves formed as part of the front/back which makes it really fun and easy to sew. The front has a cute oversized pocket and the back has a gathered section at the waist.
View A has a button close at the back neck.
View B has an invisible zip close at the back neck.

SUGGESTED FABRICS
This pattern works well in most light weight to medium weight fabrics. For a Spring/Summer dress use a thin cotton and for Autumn/Winter a medium weight fabric is ideal.

View A – Fabric, thread, hand needle, 10cm narrow satin ribbon, button (1-2cm)
View B – Fabric, thread, 22cm/8″ invisible zipper (ensure your sewing machine has a zipper foot)

The Avid Seamstress 
I have just purchased The Gathered Dress by internet order. I live in the US and am not familiar with metric measurement. Tonight I cut the pattern out and have read the instructions that are very plain to understand so I fear no problem there. I consider myself an accomplished seamstress but have gotten into piecing quilts of late but miss garment sewing. With several great granddaughters in my family I need to get busy before the size 8 does not fit them. By chance will you be offering this pattern in a young teen version at any time?

Hello Frankie, I hope you love making The Gathered Dress. We don’t have plans to do teen patterns but do have the adult version starting at a size UK0 which is very small – perhaps this could fit?
Continuing in the above conversation. I finished the childs version of the gathered dress and would like the adult version. Please advise how broad of size is included in the adult patterm. I am assuming the pattern offers more than one size. The person I have in mind sewing for is a large US size.
